Harrow Council, London – Electrical Works Programme (2025–2026)
During the 2025–2026 period, Norse Electrical were appointed by Harrow Council to deliver a large-scale electrical works programme across the borough, supporting the ongoing maintenance, upgrade, and compliance of residential housing stock.
The scope of works included the completion of 768 new electrical installations for kitchen refurbishments, ensuring modern, safe, and compliant electrical systems to support new appliances and layouts. In addition, our team carried out 54 full house rewires, upgrading outdated installations to meet current regulations and improve long-term safety and performance for residents.
As part of the programme, Norse Electrical also undertook 1,251 electrical safety tests, helping the council meet statutory compliance requirements and maintain high safety standards across its properties. Further works included the replacement of 257 electric showers, improving reliability, efficiency, and resident comfort.
All works were delivered by qualified engineers in full accordance with current electrical regulations and local authority standards. Careful planning, coordination, and resident liaison were key to successfully managing the high volume of installations while minimising disruption and maintaining consistent quality across all properties.
This programme demonstrates Norse Electrical’s capacity to deliver high-volume, multi-disciplinary electrical services for local authorities, combining technical expertise, effective project management, and a strong focus on safety and customer care.
